Wareika Hill is the cream of Philadelphia’s crop, rising to the top with a JA tip. From the ashes of Rathskeller, the Blue Roots and Bagga Riddim Band comes a hot blend of roots, soul and funky reggae. Veterans of the Philly reggae and ska scene, Sean “MacIrie” McPhillips (drums), “Lord” Tedford Juachon (lead vocals/trombone), and Dave “Squire” Segal (lead guitar) have played together in various incarnations on 
and off for ten years. Present and past projects from the members of Wareika Hill include: Inspecter 7, King Django’s Roots & Culture, Skanatra, Stubborn All-Stars, the Studebakers, Version City Rockers, the Brakes, Steadfast United.
