Mr. Review were an incredible Dutch ska revival band formed by Roel Ording and Arne Visser in 1983 in Amsterdam. They were active from 1983 to 1999, when the band dissolved. They released two incredible full length albums during that time, “WALKING DOWN BRETFORD ROAD” (all time classic on Unicorn Records) and “LOCK STOCK AND BARREL” (Grover Records). In 2009 Roel Ording and Arne Visser rejoined Mr. Review, and in 2010 recorded a brand new release. The band came together one last time at the “This Is Ska Festival” in 2016.
In 2020 Mad Butcher released “Lock Stock” on vinyl for the very first time, and in 2021 they issued a rarities collection including lots of never before heard gems taken from first demo cassete, first three 7″ vinyl releases plus rare live recordings:
