Back in 2016 BOSS CAPONE (The Upsessions) recorded the song ‘Reggae Reggae Christmas’, and apart from an appearance on a compilation CD from a small Dutch record label, the song remained unknown and on the shelf. Now in 2024 BOSS CAPONE has decided to do a proper new recording of the song. The song was rewritten, rearranged and this time around the vocal duties were given to Monty Neysmith! As an original member and songwriter of The Bees, Seven Letters, The Pyramids and Symarip – he is not only one of the founding fathers of skinhead reggae, but also a great singer! To get the Christmas spirit going full speed, Monty & Boss Capone recorded the song ‘Christmas Calamity’ for the flipside. The single comes with a 7″x14″ fold out jacket designed in the style of the LEE PERRY Christmas 45 from back in the day!
