Alpheus’ fifth album is out now on Liquidator Spain, once again produced by Roberto Sánchez. Twelve original compositions of ska, rocksteady, roots and early reggae recorded live in studio (golden era style) with the incredible ‘Lone Ark Riddim Force Band’. As per usual, there are many positive uplifting songs and vibrant ska tracks such as ‘Stand Our Ground’ , ‘No Time to Waste’, and the debut single ”Kitty Kitty’. Other standout tracks are the cool rocksteady of ‘Friend For Life’, the Latin groove of ‘Rude Girl’, and the wonderful early reggae track ‘Party Tonight’. This album is a truly uplifting listen, with the majority of the tracks being up-tempo, groovy, dancefloor fillers! We’ve stocked some “Kitty Kitty” 7 inches too for the DJs!
